We Out Here Festival is back in the news with the reveal of its 2026 first-wave artists. The acclaimed event by Gilles Peterson is getting into its seventh year, going on with the theme of sharing the delight of unearthing music together. This year, they’re welcoming artists from the heart of the communities that inspire WOH, bringing together foundational legends alongside those forging future sounds.
Here are the artists of WOH’26 so far

Joining them is legendary Brazilian composer and producer Arthur Verocai with Nu Civilisation Orchestra, the father of Ethio-Jazz Mulatu Astatke, and iconic Anglo-French group Stereolab.
Speakers Corner Quartet will also be presenting a celebration of Arthur Russell and Jamaican dub legend Scientist, boundary-pushing Sampa The Great, Yukimi, acclaimed New York rapper MIKE, drum-and-bass pioneer Adam F, Mercury-shortlisted corto.alto, and Yazmin Lacey join them too.
They sit alongside a broad constellation of live acts and this is only the start – many more artists and DJs will be announced in January 2026 and throughout the year…
