The next summer, a stage will be shared by two of the most distinctive voices in alternative rock, as Garbage and Skunk Anansie declare a joint UK tour for June 2026. The co-headline tour will have the bands switching places to close at several of the country’s most beautiful outdoor venues.
The two bands will join forces at Forest Live in Delamere Forest on 18 June, along with a series of other dates and venues, which you can find below.
Tickets go on general sale Friday 14 November 2025 at 10 am, with presales expected earlier via venue and promoter mailing lists.
Skunk Anansie were formed in London in 1994 and soon became one of the most important forces in British rock with their diverse sound that combined punk, funk, and metal. The front-woman Skin, a magnet for the audience and empowering and outspoken on race, gender, and politics, was leading the band through many hits like ‘Weak’, ‘Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good)’, and ‘Charity’ which are still played during that era. The band went on a brief hiatus but they rejoined in 2009 and have been on world tours ever since, recently celebrating their top 10 record The Painful Truth.
Garbage, who were formed in 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin, share the same amount of the adoration for their dark, cinematic sound—a combination of rock, electronica, and pop, all under the Scottish singer Shirley Manson’s control. Their powerful debut in 1995 gave birth to the anthems ‘Stupid Girl’ and ‘Only Happy When It Rains’, while the next albums Version 2.0 and Beautiful Garbage further challenged the band’s sound and lyrics. With Manson’s sultry mastery and the band’s iconic polish, Garbage have kept on being a significant, creative force over the years. Both acts each having a powerful singer and being at the forefront of the new and old music, promise the audience a series of nights full of attitude and nostalgia—a showcase of two bands that have been shaping the sound and spirit of the 1990s and still evolving three decades later.
