A message to the Terminal V Family…

In 2017, we opened the doors to Terminal V at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre with a clear vision: to build something bold for Scotland’s electronic music scene – We’re proud to say we turned that vision into a reality – but every chapter comes to an end.

Having welcomed over a quarter of a million of you through our doors, hosting thousands of incredible artists from around the world, and delivering countless unforgettable festivals here in Scotland, the time has come for change…

In recent years, the operational requirements associated with delivering Terminal V at The Royal Highland Centre and in Edinburgh have increased, with policing and associated deployment now representing a significant element of overall delivery costs at the venue.

This is why we have had to make one of the hardest decisions to date – this 18th + 19th April will mark the final ever edition of Terminal V in Edinburgh, closing a defining nine-year chapter in the city that shaped us.

This final edition will be delivered with the same award-winning production, multi-arena format that you’ve come to expect; giving Terminal V the Edinburgh send off it deserves. A collaboration with global audio leaders d&b audiotechnik, the festival will also introduce a fully bespoke site-wide sound re-design, delivering its most refined and powerful production to date across all six stages.
