Aquasella is this cool electronic music fest that happens every year in Arriondas, Asturias, Spain. It's put together by Francisco de Borja Arboleya Becerra and his crew, La Real Producciones. Mark your calendars: the next one is August 14-17, 2025!
It started back in 1997 with about 1,000 people, but it's blown up since then. In 2022, over 40,000 showed up, and the people running it are hoping even more come in 2023.
Aquasella is now a big deal on the electronic music scene, pulling in huge names like Carl Cox, Sven Väth, and a ton of others.
Back in 2011, they had three stages, camping, parking, all the usual stuff like showers and food. Each stage has its own vibe – Open Air, El Bosque, and Carpa La Real.
It used to be that Aquasella lined up with the International Descent of the Sella, but since 2015, it's been happening right after, usually in the second half of August. Again, the next one is August 14-17, 2025.
