Colchester Castle Summer Series 2026

The team responsible for the Margate Summer Series, South Facing Festival, Hitchin Priory Series and Cardiff Bay Series, is thrilled to announce the Colchester Castle summer series at the gorgeous Lower Castle Park venue in Colchester (CO1 1XL, UK).

After many great years of providing high quality live music experiences for audiences across the UK, the organisers are delighted to bring their recognised outdoor concert experience to one of the most historic and beautiful places in Essex! Lower Castle Park will provide an incredible backdrop to spend wonderful summer evenings hearing live music.

The first announcement for the 2026 season sets the bar sky-high! Music legend Billy Ocean will take to the stage alongside Marti Pellow (Thursday, 20th August 2026), the unmistakable voice of Wet Wet Wet, followed by the incredible Becky Hill (Saturday, 22nd August 2026). Prepare for an unforgettable weekend with Bastille (Sunday, 23rd August 2026), the iconic Richard Ashcroft (Thursday, 27th August 2026), and dance music pioneer Fatboy Slim (Saturday, 29th August 2026), bringing the beats that will keep you moving all night.

Global music icon Billy Ocean is the first headliner announced, performing on Thursday 20 August. With over 30 million records sold and a career spanning five decades, his distinctive blend of pop and soul has produced timeless hits like Caribbean Queen, When The Going Gets Tough, and Love Really Hurts Without You.

He will be joined by very special guest Marti Pellow, the unmistakable voice of Wet Wet Wet and one of the UK’s most enduring vocalists.

Becky Hill is set to headline Castle Park on Saturday 22nd August 2026, bringing all her biggest hits to Colchester.

With over 10 billion streams, six UK Top 10 hits, and collaborations with David Guetta, Chase & Status, Sigala, Wilkinson, and MNEK, Becky Hill is one of the UK’s most in-demand live performers.
