Cursus Festival 2026

The popular Cursus Festival returns to Dorset over the bank holiday weekend, 22–24 May, 2026 with more of the fantastic live music and relaxed atmosphere that everyone enjoys.

This three-day, friendly, family festival offers good people, great music, and delicious food and cider. Cursus prides itself on being a fun, welcoming, grassroots event – a place to chill out, make new friends, and create wonderful memories. Established at Myncen Farm near Blandford, the festival has a capacity of just 500 people, making it one of the most laid-back and friendly events around. But that doesn’t stop the organisers from hosting a big line-up!

Families, campers, and car-dwellers – all welcome!

Cursus Festival brings you a brilliant mix of authentic live acts – regional, national, and global!. This year’s headliners were MAD DOG MCREA (Friday), DUB PISTOLS (Saturday), and MAD APPLE CIRCUS (Sunday), joined by a fantastic lineup including Carsick, Skimmity Hitchers, The Great Malarkey, Imprints, The Cloverhearts, The Scribes, Dub Catalyst, Sinful Maggie, The Endings, Gamma Rave, Plot 32, Brian Stone & The Masters Of None, Millie Watson, Missing The Scene, Chiman 101, The Jimmy Hillbillies, Alphalpha – and VERY SPECIAL MYSTERY GUESTS “Richard & The Heads”!

Children can enjoy the DIY Den with self-led activities throughout the weekend, and all are welcome to join in with rural craft demonstrations, the group campfire, Tuk Tuk rides, Curmudgeon’s Corner, and a chilled-out campsite right next to the arena. Motorhomes and tents are both welcome for overnight stays.
