Download Festival has become one of the most highly recognized events in the world of rock and metal, featuring phenomenal performances and a pulsating atmosphere. It will take place from 10th to 14th June 2026 over three days, and it hosts in its lineup some of the biggest names in rock, metal, punk, and alternative music-all promising great performances across multiple stages. While the main stage showcases headlining acts, smaller stages introduce emerging stars in an up-close setting.
Beyond the music, Download Festival offers a mix of interactive attractions, meet-and-greets with artists, merchandise stalls, and many options for food and drink to give one an immersive experience.
Headliners for 2026 revealed
After an amazing festival in 2025 with headliners GREEN DAY, SLEEP TOKEN, and KORN, we’re announcing that for 2026, we will welcome three iconic bands: LIMP BIZKIT, GUNS N’ ROSES, and LINKIN PARK, who will all headline the festival as exclusive UK performances. Click here for more details.
Nu-metal legends LIMP BIZKIT will headline Download for the first time on Friday, hard rock legends GUNS N' ROSES will return to headlining on Saturday for their first Donington appearance since 2018, and LINKIN PARK will close the festival with their first headline appearance since reforming in 2024 with new vocalist Emily Armstrong.
