​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Immersed Festival is a brainchild of the creative industry students of the University of South Wales, supported by Creative Wales and Cardiff Music City to generate awareness for Music Declares Emergency, the music industry's climate change charity. For the last five years, Music Declares Emergency, a significant initiative, has been using music as a vehicle to carry the climate emergency message to the cultural sphere. The idea was conceived by a pack of artists, music industry professionals, and organisations. One of its campaigns, NO MUSIC ON A DEAD PLANET, has radically changed the way climate communication is done, by engaging a new wave of communicators - mavericks like Billie Eilish and Radiohead on the one hand and London Symphony Orchestra and Julian Lloyd Webber on the other.

The next year of 2025, according to the follow-up of the regenerative ethos of 'Regeneration', Immersed 26 goes with the theme "Believe in Magic". This year's festival is a month-long celebration of marvel, imagination, and unfailing creative possibilities. It calls on the participants to discover the power of creativity as a tool for a better world and as a means to effect positive changes. There are four live music stages at Immersed 26, which also presents immersive theatre and short film screenings along with the top-notch style workshops, a lively Creative Industries Careers & Networking Fair, art installations, fringe gigs, and the Immersed! TV broadcast. The festival maintains its pledge towards climate action and sustainability in conjunction with Music Declares Emergency.

Supporting​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ the main festival event at one of the most popular live music venues, Tramshed, are CVC, an acclaimed eclectic six-piece and Drowned In Sound 'Must-See Live Act'. After a series of sold-out shows, CVC is making their Immersed debut. The Pill and Source, the winners of the Welsh Music Triskel Prize, are indie-favorites bands. All three bands will be there to offer you an unforgettable night of sonic ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌brilliance (Check out gallery for full Lineup-->).
