More Than Just Music
With Roskilde, its about the vibe and culture sneezed from every corner of that funky city. Boys and girls, skin-weathered adults all come for the music before anything like asking together. And all profits from the festival go to developmental and humanitarian projects, with an emphasis on children and youth-oriented initiatives.
AN ICON — THE ORANGE STAGE
Roskilde is incomplete without a visit to the legendary Orange Stage. Since 1978, it has hosted some of the sin-gle most memorable performances in Rockpalast history and it is one of Europe's best known live music venues. The chance to perform here is a career-making opportunity for many artists.
Sustainability at the Heart
Roskilde Festival is committed to a greener future. It aims to be 100 percent CO₂e-neutral by the year 2028. Organic and plant-based choices are showcased at food stalls, single use is being eliminated, while the festival operates 100% on green energy. In addition, Roskilde collaborates with researchers and companies on developing sustainable solutions that can act as a source of inspiration for other events worldwide.
