State Fayre Festival 2026

Festival Republic, in partnership with Live Nation, has launched State Fayre, a new weekend camping festival that celebrates rock, Americana and barbecue. Taking place 26–28 June in Chelmsford, Essex, the festival will be the UK’s biggest music and barbecue festival with around 30,000 people in attendance. The line-up includes headliners Kings of Leon, Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts and The Lumineers - with support from The Black Crowes, Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton, Counting Crows, Amble, Kingfishr, Dylan Gossett, Sierra Ferrell, Max McNown, KT Tunstall, The Coral and many others over the weekend at Hylands Park.

State Fayre will take a genuine American approach to Americana across rock, country and folk music for just 3 days. Taking inspiration from American state fairs, long summer evenings and tailgate parties, the festival is a celebration of music, food and culture with an American twist.

Festival-goers will have the chance to get fully immersed in the sights, sounds and tastes of Americana. UK leading BBQ festival FUME will host The FUME Pit on site, which will showcase award-winning pitmasters and vendors from across the UK and overseas. Co-founded by social media star EatingWithTod, FUME has set the standard for BBQ excellence, with the largest BBQ cages in the UK and demonstrations from some of the most talented chefs in the industry.  .

Alongside three main stages packed with live music, State Fayre will feature vegetarian and vegan food traders, live food talks and demonstrations, whiskey, craft beers and cocktail bars plus non-alcoholic drinks options, boutique camping options, state fair festival rides and activities.
