StoomFest becomes a colourful and exciting celebration of the underground Stoner, Doom, psychedelic, and heavy scenes, both in the UK and abroad. Born from a collective frustration of musicians who were finding it tough to get gigs for emerging bands, with the local music scene seeming very unclear, and being unable to see overseas acts due to the lasting impacts of COVID-19, StoomFest was born to cure these ills and help kickstart the UK gigging scene once more.

Behind the philosophy of this festival lies care for the musicians' well-being and a fair payment, a chance given to upcoming bands to join in the frame of a bigger scene. Furthermore, StoomFest allows very affordable entry and participation for all, believing that the spirit of live music should join people.

After the very successful inaugural event, the second StoomFest comes with expectation and excitement. Returning from 25-27 September 2026 at the Garage in Highbury and Islington, StoomFest 2026 is going to be even more exhilarating than ever, covering several continents and bringing top domestic talents together under one roof.

StoomFest line up is out and include an incredibly carefully booked artist that comprised 16 bands so far from around the world, including Holystone, Stoned Jesus, Curated with Intention, Dunes, Khan, and several others. StoomFest also focused on fair pricing, with fair play for the artists in merchandise sales, having direct sales without charging exorbitant table fees.

More than a festival of music, StoomFest will offer an experience: from the elaborately design venue, down to the performances hand-picked by its music curator. If a band's music moved you, then that was your band for StoomFest, which definitely means guaranteed unforgettable journeys for those there.
