Headliners
Nightmares on Wax, Say She She, Skream, François K, Scientist and many more
Since its inception in 2022, Stowaway Festival has grown into one of the UK's most prized independent music festivals; it is a call to those in need of escape-to a musical, social, and natural haven. From the tiny group of friends that first brought it into existence, this now full-fledged festival invites one to step out of the normal contours of life and into the splendor of the British countryside.
A Festival with a Heart
Stowaway was launched with the vision of creating a different festival experience, rooted in bringing people together through music, art, and nature. One can expect every August to have secret gatherings in the woods, scenic lakeside views, and community-focused experiences that bring about a close-knit vibe. Whether one explores interactive art installations, joins a dance party, or sits alone by the lake, the magic of Stowaway lies in something it can offer to anyone.
Eclectic Sounds in the Woods
The lineup for Stowaway, since inception in 2022, has changed and featured a mix of different established icons and fresh new voices. For the 2024 event, a host of world-renowned headlining acts such as Groove Armada, Greentea Peng, Leftfield, and Max Cooper created something very special and raised expectations for the event next year.
Beyond the Music: Nature, Art, and Community
Probably the most defining aspect of Stowaway, however, is being situated in the heart of nature, and this certainly invites guests to embrace it. From early morning swims in the lake to yoga sessions, workshops on sustainable living, and so much more, there is so much more to Stowaway than just music. Meanwhile, families can canoe, hike, or hang out by the water; art installations add an extra touch of magic to the natural landscape.
Food and Feasting
Food is central at Stowaway, where large communal tables and banquettes bring people together over locally sourced dishes and global flavors. From pop-up stalls offering meals to relaxing at big community tables, one enjoys the sense of community that has become so central to Stowaway's charm.
Growing Community
Despite being only in its second year, Stowaway continues to attract a band of loyal followers each year, coming together to celebrate. The eclectic mix of music, art, and nature alone will make Stowaway an oasis for those craving cool alternatives to the more businesslike, larger festivals.
Stowaway Festival 2026 is arriving
The next Stowaway Festival will take place from 31st July to 2nd August 2026, with tickets now available. It is highly recommended to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment, as the festival continues to grow in popularity.
The first wave of the Stowaway lineup has been revealed, and it entails everything that makes the festival a really great time: unique sounds, artists that challenge your expectations, and a weekend of total, absolute escapism.
Nightmares on Wax, arguably one of the most lovable and timeless voices of electronic music, is the big name headlining the wave. Say She She is going to perform a set that is both nostalgically 70s and extremely trendy, and Skream, a very influential dubstep and one of the most versatile UK producers, is coming to the rescue of a great selection of talented people to make it even better.
Just these three acts could fill a festival, but there’s a lot more in the first wave lineup – have a look at the poster in our gallery to see all the details.
The Stowaway Festival would meet the expectations of any family, group of friends, or solo travelers, but year after year it becomes more and more a part of the vibrant festival scene in the UK.
