And it's not just us saying it — in 2023, UNTOLD ranked 9th in DJ Mag's Top 100 Festivals & last year ranked number 3 in Time Out magazine.

Every August, UNTOLD Festival transforms Cluj-Napoca into a vibrant hub of music and energy. The 2026 edition, celebrating its 11th anniversary from August 6–9, promises an unforgettable experience.

Centered at Cluj Arena, the festival extends across the city, with stages in Central Park, the Someș Riverbank, and BT Arena, creating a multi-sensory world of music. But UNTOLD is more than a festival, it’s a citywide phenomenon.

Since its debut in 2015 — when Cluj-Napoca was named European Youth Capital — UNTOLD has grown into one of the biggest music festivals in the world. Its first edition drew 240,000 fans and won “Best Major European Festival”, a first for a debut event.

Over the years, legends like Avicii, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and The Chainsmokers have lit up the UNTOLD stages. From emotional moments like the 2017 tribute to Chester Bennington, to Armin van Buuren's seven-hour marathon set, UNTOLD has created memories that last a lifetime.

But it's more than music — it's a movement. From its life-saving “Blood Network” campaign to accessible spaces and eco-friendly energy, UNTOLD celebrates people and purpose. Each year, it brings over 300,000 fans together in the heart of the city — and leaves behind over €45 million in local impact.
