Indie rock’s most enigmatic voices will echo beneath the famous dome of the Royal Albert Hall next spring as Mitski brings her latest tour to London.
Mitski – Nothing’s About To Happen To Me
Thursday 21 May 2026
Auditorium, Royal Albert Hall
As Mitski prepares to release her eighth full-length, the follow-up to 2025’s Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, she is ready to unleash another groundbreaking chapter in her ongoing creative odyssey. In her latest work, Mitski takes on the role of a recluse, with the result being an immersive and deeply affecting musical exploration of a reclusive woman who lives alone in a neglected house — a vivid character study that feels incredibly personal, hauntingly powerful and profoundly moving. The conceptual themes of the record are likely to find their way to the stage at one of London’s most renowned venues in the form of a deeply emotional and visually engaging live experience.
Mitski has consistently demonstrated throughout her career a strong ability to create emotionally raw and emotionally impactful songs and to deliver those songs with incredible passion and energy on stage. Since releasing her first seven full-lengths — all of which have been certified gold — Mitski has developed an incredibly devoted and global fanbase. Mitski’s 2023 single, My Love Mine All Mine, was released to international acclaim and earned four times platinum certification and exposed her ethereal sound to a much larger audience than before.
Each time Mitski performs, she brings a delicate balance of vulnerability and intensity to the stage, and her live shows often have an almost mythical quality to them, which should make for a perfect match for the majesty of the Royal Albert Hall’s Auditorium. Fans should expect Mitski to play a mix of newer songs and classic tracks from her entire body of work, each delivered with the same quiet power that has come to define her career.
Welsh guitarist Gwenifer Raymond will also perform as part of Mitski’s tour, and Raymond’s instrumental folk-blues compositions, which are highly detailed and evocative, will add an interesting contrast to Mitski’s performance. The hypnotic nature of Raymond’s playing should serve as a fitting precursor to a truly unforgettable evening of music.
