Roskilde Festival has just begun unveiling its lineup for next summer, and another legendary name has been confirmed: The Cure.
Robert Smith and his bandmates will celebrate 50 years as one of the world’s most influential and beloved rock bands with a special anniversary performance on Wednesday 1 July on the Orange Stage. They will be among the very first acts to perform on the festival’s brand-new, larger main stage.
The evening promises to be historic, featuring a band that has united generations of fans and produced some of the most iconic songs and defining albums in rock history.
24 artists for Roskilde Festival 2026 have now been announced, offering a preview of a lineup that ranges from international icons to emerging musical talents.
Among the biggest names is Gorillaz, who will headline the new, larger Orange Stage with a show where music and animation combine for an unforgettable experience. Damon Albarn’s acclaimed cartoon band turns 25 next year and has long earned its place in music history with classics such as “Feel Good Inc”, “Clint Eastwood”, and “Dare.” With their upcoming album Mountain on the horizon, an epic reunion awaits at Roskilde Festival 2026.
