True to its expansive spirit, Primavera Sound Barcelona continues to grow with the programme of Primavera a la Ciutat, completing a full week of music running from 1 to 7 June. The 24th edition of the festival is now enriched with 59 concerts that will once again take part of its activity to various venues and spaces beyond the main site and core days. In 2026, the epicentre of Primavera Sound will once again be the Parc del Fòrum, but Primavera a la Ciutat will once more underline the idea of a festival truly integrated into the city of Barcelona.
The announcement of this parallel programme comes six months ahead of Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026. A first countdown for the festival arrives with the momentum of the Primavera community: tickets are close to selling out. Public support for Primavera Sound Barcelona’s unmistakable artistic proposal remains unquestionable.
The idea that Primavera Sound contains several different festivals within it takes on its full meaning with Primavera a la Ciutat, which will once again welcome Primavera Sound week. A programme featuring Scottish post-rock heroes Mogwai, closely linked to the festival’s history; the chameleonic Yves Tumor; groundbreaking flamenco guitarist Yerai Cortés; and Blood Orange, who will perform Essex Honey both at the Parc del Fòrum and as part of Primavera a la Ciutat.
The Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026 line-up, which already included 150 confirmed artists, is expanding with more than 50 additional musical acts. While some, such as Six Sex, Nick León, Melt-Banana, Gelli Haha, Mechatok, femtanyl, and Joey Valence & Brae, will also perform live at the Parc del Fòrum during the main festival days, the majority will appear exclusively as part of Primavera a la Ciutat.
This includes Santiago Motorizado, an intergenerational figure of Argentine indie; Black Country, New Road, Sorry, and bar italia, three bands illustrating the different dialects of contemporary British rock; hyperpop diva Hannah Diamond; cult experimental folk band Current 93; tireless songwriting craftsman Cass McCombs; and the Congolese DIY legends Konono Nº1. And more: the cross-pollinated pop of Soleá Morente, the electro-rock acrobatics of Model/Actriz, the raw rap of billy woods, and the whirlwind electronics of Bassvictim. Even a party from dh2, the label led by George Daniel of The 1975.
Once again, the festival spirit will sweep across Barcelona’s live venue circuit. The Primavera a la Ciutat programme will take place in Sala Apolo, La (2) de Apolo, Razzmatazz, Paral·lel 62, La Nau, LAUT, Enfants and the CCCB — eight venues hosting this entire parallel programme.
The Primavera a la Ciutat concerts at Sala Apolo, La (2) de Apolo, Razzmatazz, Paral·lel 62, La Nau, LAUT and Enfants on Monday 1, Tuesday 2, Wednesday 3, and Sunday 7 June are included for holders of a Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026 festival pass or VIP pass, as well as for Primavera Pro Basic and Primavera Pro Premium accreditation holders, through a prior reservation system whose details will be announced soon. Reservations must be made via the AccessTicket app, and a limited number of tickets for each event will also be sold through Fever.
In addition, Primavera Pro will present around twenty free-entry concerts at the CCCB on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. In this way, the professional meeting and emerging-artist platform of Primavera Sound becomes part of the Primavera a la Ciutat daytime programme. The CCCB stage, which will once again serve as the central hub of all Primavera Pro 2026 activity, will therefore be the perfect showcase for artists from near and far such as GAL GO, La Sécurité, 3L3D3P, Hadren, April, Clara Mann, Madra Salach, Azikazin Magic World and Jolly Damper.
Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026 is supported by Estrella Damm, Revolut and CUPRA as key strategic partners. Their support makes it possible to continue improving the festival — both musically and in everything that surrounds it. They are joined by the essential collaboration of Levi’s, Schwarzkopf, Jameson, Aperol, Vueling and azulmarino, with Fever as the official ticketing partner. Many thanks to all for their trust in Primavera Sound.
